My name is Daisy, and I am a newly started author of contemporary romance fiction. What does that mean? It means I write books about men and women who fall in love (and lust) and who must battle against the odds if they are going to make their love work.

Hi, my name is Daisy, and I am a newly starting out author of contemporary romance fiction.
I write books about men and women who fall in love (and lust) and the situations they find themselves in, where they must battle against the odds if they are going to make their love work.
My books are set in current times (hence they are “contemporary” rather than “historical”) and they are sometimes fairly explicit in the bedroom (and elsewhere!) so my books are for readers like me, who are just as interested to read all about what happens to the main characters when they are in bed as when they are out of bed doing anything else!
I write about what interests me, which happens to be monogamous, heterosexual relationships, where sex is important, but love is the ultimate driver. Thus, my main male and female characters are driven by all sorts of emotions – just like we all are in real life – but ultimately their one, true ambition is to attain a permanent, loving relationship with that one special, life partner.
I do my best to make my characters both interesting and believable. Of course, I tend to write about people who are a little more extreme than the average person – billionaires, rock stars, airline pilots, nightclub owners, and ex special forces personnel are all examples – because they tend to have more exciting stories than those us with more normal lives.
